Fallen Trees in Luxembourg: Firefighters’ Response and Witness Account

Trees fell on the roads in Vance, Bodange, Hondelange, Dampicourt, Bovigny and Thiaumont between Friday 11 p.m. and this Saturday at 9 a.m. Firefighters from the Luxembourg zone were on the job.

The wind blew very strongly from Friday evening to this Saturday. Between 11 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. this Saturday, October 14, 2023, firefighters from the Luxembourg emergency zone counted a dozen trees lying on the roads, forcing the fire brigade to intervene.

The firefighters of Bastogne, Étalle, Virton, Vielsalm, Saint-Hubert and Arlon were called upon for fallen trees in Vance, Bodange, Hondelange, Dampicourt, Bovigny and Thiaumont.
