The coach of the national football team, Jaroslav Šilhavý, remains in his post, following a special meeting on Tuesday of the executive committee of the Czech Football Federation. His future at the helm of the Reprezentace was the subject of speculation following Czech players lost 3-0 to Albania and needed a penalty to beat the Faroe Islands 1-0 in their last qualifying matches for Euro 2024.
Despite these results, the Czechs still have a good chance of qualifying for the European Championship in Germany.
