Real estate in Europe: an apartment in Rome costs less… than in the Paris suburbs

Rome definitely does not attract real estate investors. At 2,998 euros per m2, the Italian capital is even cheaper than the average purchase price in France (3,171 euros/m2). This is the astonishing conclusion that emerges from the study by Meilleurs Agents, the real estate valuation site, on prices in six European capitals around France. As the United Kingdom has left the European Union, it has not been possible to compile reliable data on the state of the market in London.
