Spider-Man 2 was released on October 20 with record sales in 24 hours, however, some players report problems with some objects and enemies getting stuck to walls and other items. Fortunately, today Insomniac is releasing an update that fixes this bug.

The version with the fix for the bug with objects and characters unexpectedly sticking to surfaces in Spider-Man 2 is 1,001,004, which is now available for PlayStation 5.

Insomniac says that this problem can occur in fights in Sandman’s memories, tutorials, during the New Threads mission and confrontations with some bosses.

Furthermore, the new version brings performance optimizations to make the game more stable, reducing the drop in frames per second in more demanding scenarios or long gaming sessions, as some details might no longer be loaded.

The Upgraded Classic costume is also receiving visual fixes to prevent Spider-Man’s eyes from getting double detailing.
