Claude Pivi, Thiergboro Camara and Blaise Gomou removed from the Guinean army

Colonel Claude Pivi (on the run), Moussa Thiegboro Camara, Blaise Goumou and several other military officers were removed from the ranks of the Guinean army this Sunday, November 5, 2023.

The day following their escape from the Conakry remand center where they had been detained since September 2022, as part of the trial for the massacres of September 28, 2009, these former dignitaries of the military regime led by Moussa Dadis Camara, the Minister of Defense national, General Aboubacar Sidiki Camara decided to remove them from the Guinean army.

Around ten officers from the Airborne Troops Battalion (BATA) and prison guards were also removed from the Guinean army.

Furthermore, it should be noted that Colonel Claude Pivi remains untraceable since his escape from the Conakry Central House on Saturday November 4, 2023.
