O X (formerly Twitter) continues to gain new features that end up transforming it into more than just a social network. Proof of this is that, from now on, you can make and receive audio and video calls over there.

Even though the function is not 100% implemented, it is now possible to make an adjustment that many people may end up wanting to make: choosing who can make this type of contact with you.

See how to proceed! ????

In the X app for iPhone or iPad, tap your photo (in the top left corner), choose “Settings and support” and then go to “Settings and privacy”.

Then, access Privacy and security » Direct messages and uncheck “Enable audio and video calls” not to allow them to be done.

If you choose to leave this option active, you can still choose whether you want to allow these calls from people in your address book, those you follow and/or users who have a verification badge on X.
