The company CAD Exchanger has released a major update to its software for converting and visualizing 3DCAD

Further innovations concern the processing of BIM models and extensions to the programming interface. By making adjustments to the data model and the API, the software should be even easier to use for workflows related to building information modeling.
The interface documentation has also been revised to make the work of developers easier. CAD Exchanger is also announcing a new standalone product specifically for manufacturing-related applications such as cost estimation and sheet metal processing.
With the update, CAD Exchanger says it supports over 80 CAD formats and enables conversion and visualization on desktop, web and mobile. A free trial is available on the provider’s website.
