The ÖVP fundamentally agrees with the investigative commission that Justice Minister Alma Zadić wants to set up into the Pilnacek and Sobotka case. That makes this venture very suspicious: the assumption is that not much will come of it. In fact, the suspected interventions and interventions will be difficult to clarify, even apart from political will or unwillingness: the most important person to provide information, Christian Pilnacek, has died. And Wolfgang Sobotka won’t lift a finger to help clarify anything.
