Foreign media reported on the 23rd (local time) that Microsoft (MS) acknowledged an issue in which Narrator may not work when clean installing Windows 11 version 23H2 through an ISO file or media. The Narrator app provides a function that guides screen contents through voice. Helps visually impaired users navigate the operating system. When installing Windows 11 23H2 using an ISO file or media, Narrator may not start or open unresponsive, making it difficult for visually impaired users to complete the installation process, foreign media reported. “This issue only occurs when media or ISO is used to install Windows 11 version 23H2,” Microsoft said. “Once installation is complete, you can use the Narrator app normally.” Additionally, there is no problem when upgrading from existing Windows 10 or Windows 11 to Windows 11 version 23H2. “We are developing updated media that can be used to install Windows 11 version 23H2 without issues,” Microsoft said, adding, “We will provide updates in a future release.”
