An airborne group of rescuers has been sent to Crimea to provide assistance to residents of the flooded area of Yevpatoria. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“The airmobile group of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has been sent to the flooded area of Yevpatoria. Due to bad weather, five private houses on Simferopolskaya Street were partially flooded. <…> Two temporary accommodation points have been put on standby,” it is stated in telegram channel departments.
The western part of Crimea was covered by hurricane winds. There is a strong storm at sea, flooding coastal areas with waves. The elements have left no heating at home in Yalta. In the resort town of Saki damaged gas pipeline Forecasters predict that precipitation and wind will increase.
