A 16-year-old was arrested in Upper Austria last week on strong suspicion of terrorist plans once morest a synagogue. Interior Minister Gerhard Karner (ÖVP) and the head of the State Security and Intelligence Directorate (DSN), Omar Haijawi-Pirchner, announced this at a press conference in Vienna on Monday. There were also house searches at the weekend, said the minister. The teenager is currently in custody.
