As several epidemics of respiratory viruses are present in the canton, the State of Geneva has decided to once once more recommend the wearing of masks in health establishments, both for staff and visitors, but not for patients.
The HUG (Geneva University Hospitals) already generalized this measure on Thursday December 14.
This is regarding protecting those most at risk, and relieving a health system under pressure from these various winter conditions.
Town offices, clinics, medical centers, medical transport and home aid and care organizations are also affected by the measure which has become much more commonplace since the Covid pandemic.
