A outbreak of rabies has been identified in the Ivanovo region
A focus of rabies was identified near the village of Taimanikha, Rodnikovsky district; a positive result was obtained when examining a sample of pathological material from a dead fox.
A set of organizational, economic, veterinary and sanitary measures is being carried out to eliminate the outbreak and prevent further spread of the infection.
The Veterinary Service of the Ivanovo Region has prepared materials on establishing quarantine.
