Venice – In the fight once morest the negative effects of mass tourism, the city of Venice bans tourist groups of more than 25 people accompanied by tour guides. This was decided by the city council at its most recent meeting. This measure affects the city center and the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. Loudspeakers will be banned on city tours in the future.
