Sydney: Pakistan were bowled out for 313 runs in the first innings of Test cricket against Australia. When play was stopped on the first day, Australia reached six runs without losing a wicket.
Muhammad Rizwan (88) and Amir Jamal (82) batted for Pakistan. Openers Abdullah Shafiq and Saeem Ayyub were dismissed without a run, which was a setback for Pakistan. Agha Salman’s (53) half-century raised the score. Captain Shan Masood (35), Babar Azam (26) and Sajid Khan (15) also crossed the double figures. Pat Cummins took five wickets for Australia. Mitchell Starc took two, Josh Hazelwood, Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Marsh took a wicket each.
