Trial training in Switzerland and Germany

After the Stier, the SAK goalkeeper will train with Lok Leipzig from Monday to Thursday. The traditional German club, which was also internationally successful, has had better days in terms of sport, but is also a fan magnet as a fourth division team with around 4,000 spectators at home games. Hasanovic has already completed a trial training session with the Swiss first division club St. Gallen, where ex-Bull Peter Zeidler is head coach. The Austrian third division team Vorwärts Steyr is also said to have expressed interest in the Salzburg talent.

“If he can make it to the top, then he has to do it”

The SAK doesn’t want to put any obstacles in Hasanovic’s way. “Ammar has always openly communicated that he wants to become a professional. If he can do it, then he has to do it. And we are the last ones to prevent that,” says Ladner, who might of course live very well if he stayed . “We’ll be happy if Ammar makes the jump to the top, but we also hope that he stays until at least the summer.” If Hasanovic changes in the winter, the SAK would look for an external replacement. Sports director Ladner emphasizes: “However, we don’t have to get a new one by hook or by crook and we have no concerns regarding going into the spring with our two-man goalkeeper Max Peiskammer as the new number one.”

Fourth newcomer comes from Anif

Ideally, the Nonntal team’s squad planning has already been completed. Most recently, they secured a fourth new signing following Lukas Can Hindler (Bergheim), Niklas Preslmayr (Puch) and Rinor Hulaj (Neumarkt). Moritz Egger is moving from league competitor Anif to the state capital. The 17-year-old full-back played five times in the first half of the season for the penultimate team in the Salzburg league. “We expect a lot from him. As a young player, he certainly still needs time, but he will get it with us,” explains Ladner, who has two departures with Alkali Kamara (Hallwang) and Azem Basinac (break due to back problems). Florijan Hajdini, another squad player, is in talks with potential new clubs.
