Newcastle United 2-3 Manchester City

It was thought that points would be shared, but Manchester City fought until the last drop and scored a winning goal during injury time from Oscar Bobb, overtaking Newcastle United in a narrow 3-2 victory.

The return of Kevin De Bruyne made a noticeable impact when he came on as a substitute and scored 1 goal and 1 assist for the “Blues” to successfully grab 3 points.

This victory helped Pep Guardiola’s team to 43 points from 20 matches, trailing Premier League leaders Liverpool by only 2 points.

Ederson – N/A

Hurt from the first 90 seconds of the game. And almost lost the goal from a wrong pass. Before being unable to continue playing until he was substituted in the 7th minute

Kyle Walker – 3/10

It’s true that he was named as the person who made the assist for the team to take the lead. But he was responsible for the 2 goals lost. The second half added a lot of attacking games.

Ruben Dias – 6/10

They are in a defensive panel that is out of form, but Dias seems to be the best. Including playing a part in the game.

Nathan Ake – 5/10

It should be the first game where his form dropped when dueling with Isak. Maybe he should switch positions with Guardiol.

Yosco Guardiol – 5/10

He faces a tough test when dealing with Almiron’s dynamism, which is one reason why Guardiol shouldn’t be a long-term left-back.

Rodri – 6/10

Seemed to drop off a bit in the first half but gradually improved as the game progressed. However, many times it seems too late. Plus it’s easy to lose a yellow card.

Mateo Kovacic – 5/10

Can’t keep up with the game tempo Many times they let Rodri work too hard. Like not being good at surviving when being pressed once morest you.

Phil Foden – 6/10

Really flashed when fighting with Burn, even though it wasn’t easy to find a slot to play in the right wing role. But try to do things to benefit the team.

Bernardo Silva – 7/10

Cross the ball superiorly to give the team the lead. And almost scored the second goal with another beautiful shot. Overall, it’s done well. But because he received a yellow card, he was substituted.

Jeremy Doku – 4/10

Should have created more danger than this, but throughout the game Dogu was hidden by Trippier.

Julian Alvarez – 5/10

In fact, there was a golden opportunity when the team was trailing but they shot it over the crossbar. Including Dubravka saving a free kick, but it was not a very good game for him.

Stefan Ortega (replaces Ederson, 7′) 6/10 There was a careless moment that almost cost him a goal early in the game. But lost the right to save the 2 lost goals.

Kevin De Bruyne (replaces Bernardo, 69′) 9/10 Truly Man of the Match, his presence clearly made a difference.

Oscar Bobb (Tan Dogu, 82′) 7/10 Many admire De Bruyne, but let’s not forget that Bobb scored the winning goal with a moment beyond his years.
