Stefan Maier, project coordinator of the ICO (Initiative Christian Orient, association for the promotion of information regarding Christians in the Orient and to support them), recently reported in Salzburg following a stay in Lebanon regarding the dramatic situation there. Following the lecture, Fritz Ortner, chairman of the Salzburg Maxglan Boy Scout Guild, presented a symbolic check for 1,000 euros from the Boy Scout Guild’s social fund. The visitors to the lecture donated an additional 838 euros to benefit the ICO aid projects.
