Free cultural work is characterized by precariat, the risk of poverty and a lack of social security. In order to change that, the GPA union and the advocacy group IG Kultur have joined forces to formulate a kind of guideline for fair working conditions in this sector. The result is the “first social partner recommendation”, which has now been issued, as announced in a joint broadcast on Thursday.
