In the run-up to the first night of the Olmué Huaso Festival we asked Eduardo Fuentes regarding the physical preparations before his second time at Patagual.

Just as a few days ago Pancho Saavedra said that he had given up on Botox so as not to lose his facial expressions – especially because he is good for laughing – and because he also has super good skin, we went to the brand new host of the pageant to find out if he I had resorted to some injection here or there.

“No Botox, I’ve never had it because I’m afraid of pricks, I get pricks if it’s something I don’t know, because of Covid, but I would be a very bad drug addict from the 70s, I’m afraid of needles,” he revealed at the outset and with his characteristic sense of humor.

And he added: “I haven’t applied a single thing but I did have surgery on my eyelid because it was drooping, but because I was seeing poorly, it is the only operation.”

– Is that the Blepharoplasty that is so fashionable among celebrities?

Yes, but mine was not aesthetic, but functional because I was losing my field of vision.

-And when did you do it?

In August.

-And how regarding the results?

You don’t see the cuts as much, the doctor is very subtle, they cut a small piece of your eyelid so that your eye is more open, but it has to be both to leave the blinds level. I had a third less vision due to what the eyelid covered, it’s like I literally would have opened the curtain a little more.

– Did it change your life?

Indeed, you notice the difference and it is a super outpatient surgery, the doctor who did it to me, Dr. Mabel Suarez (@dramabel), is dry, it is her specialty and she does it quickly, you barely feel it and it really changes your life.
