New death in a stream in 24 hours in Bié – news

A 60-year-old citizen, presumably drunk, drowned that Sunday, in the Gungu stream, in the village of Sapenda, municipality of Chinguar, Bié province, being the second case in 24 hours recorded in this part of the country.

The information is contained in the occurrences of the last 24 hours by the Provincial Command of the Civil Protection and Fire Service, to which ANGOP had access yesterday. According to the document, the incident occurred around 5 pm, when the victim, in a drunken state, fell and was swept away by the current, while trying to cross the aforementioned stream, located in the municipality of Cangote.

The body has already been rescued by corporation personnel. A day earlier, on Saturday, a citizen, also 60 years old, presumably also in a state of intoxication, died under the same circumstances in the Calondão stream, in the village of Tchissandje, municipality of Andulo.
