Kuwaiti artist and director Ali Jumaa suffered from a health problem, and the tests he underwent revealed that he had a rare disease.

The Kuwaiti journalist and art critic, Nayef Al-Shammari, reported that “Jomaa” assured him that he suffers from a rare, chronic disease, called “lupus erythematosus.”

He added that he learned regarding this when he called him to ask him regarding the reason for his absence from the artistic scene, noting that “Jomaa” said that the disease that afflicted him usually affects one person out of a million people.

He pointed out that the artist explained that lupus is an inflammatory disease, and he treats it in several specialized clinics, and takes high doses of the medicine, approximately 20 pills a day, adding that the disease makes him tired, and this is what prompted him to apologize for a number of… Artistical works.
