Palworld, a recent gaming craze that sold more than 6 million copies in just four days following its early access launch, took the gaming world by storm. Notably, it secured its place as the third most simultaneously played game in Steam history.

What adds even more merit to the game’s success is the fact that it achieved this feat even without being available on PlayStation, making its success even more remarkable. However, recent indications suggest this may soon change.

Shuhei Yoshida, head of independent developers at PlayStation, hinted at Palworld’s possible arrival on PlayStation consoles in response to a fan’s question regarding its availability on PS5.

Yoshida’s succinct response, “Yes,” in Japanese, accompanied by Jingwen Zhu from PlayStation’s partnership development team, raised expectations among fans.

While Yoshida’s tweet doesn’t provide a clear timeline for Palworld’s release on PlayStation, indicates that Sony is aware of the demand for the game on its platform. Prior to Palworld’s early access release, game developer Pocketpair mentioned in an official FAQ that while a PS5 version was not initially planned, it would be considered during the development phase.
