National Council initially speaks out against new elections – Parliament

Vienna – Austrians do not have to prepare for early elections, at least for the time being. A corresponding proposal from the Freedom Party only met with the approval of the other opposition parties in the National Council on Wednesday evening. The ÖVP and the Greens expressed their willingness to continue working until the regular election date in September.
