After Standard’s poor performance at RWDM, Rouches supporters did not intend to sit idly by. They wanted to express their dissatisfaction to the players. And they demonstrated it this Saturday evening.

At the end of the game, they had already done it, notably singing “It’s going to blow” and their traditional song “Even if you don’t deserve it, we’re here”.

But the Rouches fans did not stop there since following the match, they headed towards the team bus with the intention of preventing the players from entering the bus and therefore leaving the stadium.

The team captain, Arnaud Bodart, walked towards the supporters to ease tensions by chatting. He promised the supporters that the players would give their all in the next matches. The rest of the team followed the captain and the players finally returned to the bus.

The Rouches doorman managed to calm the situation down. Without his intervention, the supporters would not have calmed down so easily.

Finally, the Standard bus left the capital, following the supporters sang songs of encouragement once more, even with a few players…
