The Hautes-Pyrénées Caregiver Association is a personal structure. Around forty people manage the association and its 140 members. The departmental council has entrusted Trait d’Union with the management of the caregiver partner center 65. Several information campaigns have already taken place. Thanks to the Preven’TIMM truck, owned by the department, this vehicle travels to the most remote areas to welcome patients in complete privacy. This vehicle is made available to raise awareness of prevention actions. It presents vaccination campaigns, screening, weaning, smoking etc. Trait d’Union will show up to be there twice a month in areas where the association is not very present. In Gembrie, to break the isolation, Anne-Marie Fontan intervenes and offers cultural outings, walks and creative workshops. Trait d’Union presented a request to health professionals in November to relay its existence to caregivers in the exercise of their professions. In Bize, a stretching class loved by Angélina Gras began in January. The status of Trait d’Union allows you to benefit from the services offered by the UDAF: caregiver-assisted mediation, budget advice, legal protection of adults, use of IT.
