In Cesenatico everything is ready for the big commemorations. The Piazza Marconi on the Adriatic beach, on which there is a statue in honor of the city’s most famous son, will be renamed Piazza Marco Pantani by the municipality on Wednesday. Fans will flock to the cemetery where the winner of the Giro d’Italia and Tour de France rests.
