(Keystone-ATS) Due to the possible presence of pieces of metal in chocolate bars, Lidl is recalling “Nougatelli” from the “Mcennedy” American Star Cookies brand from sale. 175 gram portions can be returned in all Lidl stores.

The purchase price will be refunded even without a receipt, the company said Thursday. The recall exclusively concerns products with the use-by date of 10.12.2024 and batch number 2334510 from the manufacturer Merba BV

The presence of metallic foreign bodies cannot be excluded. Due to a possible risk of injury during consumption, customers must absolutely heed the recall and under no circumstances eat the affected product, Lidl stressed in a press release sent by the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, training and research (DEFR).
