The events took place during the night from Wednesday to Thursday at the home of the TF 1 presenter. Jean-Luc Reichmann was the victim of an attempted theft at his home in Neuilly-sur-Seine, in Hauts-de-Seine, according to our information.

Several individuals were seen around 2:20 a.m. trying to climb the gate of the host’s property. They tried to enter the home by forcing the door and window with a crowbar when they came across the son of Jean-Luc Reichmann, who scared them away. The host was sleeping at the time of the attempted break-in.

Forces of BAC police officers quickly arrived on the scene. They saw the burglars fleeing in a car. As it fled, the vehicle rushed towards the police officers without hitting them. A chase then begins in the streets of Neuilly, Levallois then onto the ring road.

The five suspects were finally arrested in Épinay-sur-Seine where they had just abandoned their vehicle. They were taken to the Neuilly-sur-Seine police station and placed in police custody for criminal conspiracy to commit a crime and attempted intentional homicide of a person holding public authority.

Home burglaries and assaults in the capital and in upscale towns in the Paris region have increased in recent months, particularly among many stars.
