The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command attracted the first Emirati employee from the female police cadre, in the K9 Security Inspection Department, who was qualified and trained to deal with “police dogs” as part of the Ministry of Interior’s strategy, aimed at empowering women.
Corporal Maryam Mohammed Al Shehhi, an employee of the Training Branch of the K9 Security Inspection Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, was trained to handle and train in the fields of police dogs by refining her abilities and skills through theoretical and field training in taming, dealing with and controlling police dogs, which enabled her to raise her efficiency and capabilities in training police dogs. And qualifying it in tracing and rescue and providing all the important forensic evidence required by the tasks of the K9 Security Inspection Department and criminal work at Ras Al Khaimah Police, which would contribute to achieving many positive performance indicator results in the field of security inspection.
