Stratasys launches two new GrabCAD software packages. Streamline Pro is the solution for managing an entire fleet of Stratasys 3D printers from one platform. GrabCAD Print Pro for Polyjet is intended to control various Polyjet 3D printers.
Stratasys previously released GrabCAD Print Pro for FDM and SAF. This software has led to a 30 to 50% better utilization of the 3D printers for a number of users. “Our software provides essential capabilities for scaling additive manufacturing workflows,” said Victor Gerdes, Vice President of Software at Stratasys. “We connect users to a centralized platform, giving them more information to make data-driven decisions and providing them with the precision and detail only possible with additive manufacturing.”
Software success factor for additive manufacturing
According to Ryan Martin, Senior Director of Research at ABI Research, software platforms are the key to successfully scaling additive manufacturing across industries including aerospace and automotive. “Many manufacturers struggle with integrating additive manufacturing into their production ecosystem. For greater adoption, they need to add improved software solutions that provide them with the necessary quality controls, repeatability, and scalability. Software is the key to unlocking the next steps additive manufacturing takes to become more mainstream in overall manufacturing.”
Entire Stratasys 3D printer fleet on one platform
GrabCAD Streamline Pro links a complete fleet of Stratasys 3D printers to one platform. From here you can control and manage via secure communication. The printing processes are monitored in real time and are warned if action is required. Build job preparation is largely automatic to minimize the deployment of an operator.
