No memory of the Emmys
In the interview, the 52-year-old also talks regarding her surprise appearance at the Emmys in January 2024, when she received a minute-long standing ovation. “We don’t have to applaud every time I do something,” she joked at the time.
She can hardly remember the moment herself. “I actually had a kind of blackout,” admits the actress. “People said, ‘Oh, you were so funny,’ and I said, ‘I don’t even know what I said. I don’t know what I did. I was so freaked out that I didn’t even know what was going on.” “But I felt really loved, and it was a beautiful thing,” she continues.
