The Specialist Association for Personal Advice and Personal Care of the Austrian Economic Chamber, chaired by Andreas Herz, recently invited people to the ceremonial presentation of the “DAHEIM BETREUT AWARD 2024” at Vienna’s Palais Ferstel. Antónia Terkaničová and Velichka Mircheva are the winners from Salzburg. They each receive 1,500 euros as recognition and prize.

The cooperation group “Salzburger Tischler Küche” – an association of six Salzburg carpenters – invited people to the pop-up exhibition “From Tree to Kitchen” at the Architekturhaus Salzburg last weekend. Over two days, those interested were given insights into the manufacturing process of a “Salzburg carpenter kitchen”. A demonstration cooking with regional delicacies and drinks complemented the exhibition. By taking part in an auction and a competition, visitors were able to win prizes and donate to a good cause. 5,405 euros will go to two-year-old Giulia from Eugendorf, who suffers from dangerous allergies. Simply touching objects, such as invisible food residue, can trigger anaphylactic shock. The amount should be used for the therapy costs of desensitization.
