Recently, the famous Hollywood star, Will Smith, revealed that he had completed or read up to 30 chapters of the Koran during the month of Ramadan. He also expressed his admiration for the holy book.
Reported by Saudi Gazette on Wednesday (20/3), in an interview at the event Big Time Podcast, the man who is often referred to as Smith stated that he had experienced difficult times over the last two years. This encouraged him to seek inner peace, so he decided to read all the holy books, including the Koran.
“It was a phase in my life where I felt like I wanted to open my heart as much as possible so that I might reach as many people as possible,” he said.
Smith also expressed his deep admiration for the simplicity of the Koran. He also shared his experience regarding how the story of Prophet Musa AS might shake him.
“I was very impressed to see so many references to the Prophet Musa AS in the Koran,” he said.
Apart from that, Smith also showed his admiration for the simplicity of the Koran.

“Another thing I appreciate regarding the Koran is its simplicity. The Koran is so clear; it is so transparent. It’s hard to misinterpret it,” he explained.
In the interview, Smith also revealed that he had visited Saudi Arabia and loved it. During his visit, Smith visited the cities of Jeddah, Riyadh, and took a tour of the Neom project.
