The animal appeared a few meters from a winery in the municipality of Hadersdorf-Kammern, the “NÖN” (“Niederösterreichische Nachrichten”) reported online on Wednesday. Other sightings in the Krems area were also reported.
According to district hunter Andreas Neumayr, the animal did not display “typical behavior” when roaming near a residential area. It is probably a young wolf, but it poses no immediate danger to humans, Neumayr told ORF Lower Austria.
Localization: Hadersdorf-Kammern is located in the Krems district in Lower Austria
