“In my family we had the tradition of having lunch with my grandparents once a month on a Sunday. The main course was mini schnitzels, but the real highlight for me was the side dish: potato salad with mayonnaise and Bertram vinegar. The latter comes from my great-grandmother. She made it in large quantities and gave it to her children. The supply lasted a long time, but in 2019, almost at the same time as the death of my grandfather, with whom I had a close relationship, the last drop was used up.
