Photovoltaics (PV) experienced an unprecedented boom in Austria last year. Triggered by uncertainties in the wake of the Russian attack on Ukraine and extremely high electricity prices, more and more private households have had solar modules installed on their roofs to convert sunlight into electrical energy. Now the trend curve, which has been pointing steeply upwards since 2022, is threatening to flatten. The interest group PV Austria has identified the most important brake blocks.
