iOS 17 brought a very interesting function for those who use the application Messages (Messages). Named after Arrived well? (Check In)it allows a friend or family member to be notified when you arrive home or somewhere else.
This way, they can have peace of mind knowing that there were no problems during the journey and that, as the name of the resource says, you arrived safely. 😉
Like every function, things may not always work the way they should. If you have had any problems using “Did you arrive well?”, don’t worry: we have put together some tips that can resolve this.
Check out! 🙂
- Check that both iPhones (yours and the other person’s) are updated to iOS 17, as this is a feature that only works from that version of the operating system.
- Make sure location services are turned on. To do this, open Settings, go to Privacy and Security » Location Services and see if they are turned on. Also tap “Messages” to see if you have allowed access to your location.
- Still in the “Privacy and Security” section, scroll to the bottom of the page, select “System Services” and “Important Locations”. Authenticate using Face ID/Touch ID and see if they are turned on.
- Check if mobile data is activated on the device that will be “tracked” with “Did it arrive well?”.
- Check that iMessage is not currently experiencing any instability. This can be checked by accessing the Apple’s System Status page.
- Reset your network settings by going to Settings » General » Transfer or Reset iPhone » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
Did everything go well there? 📱
