Two officials of the Customs Department were killed and two others were injured in an attack by unknown armed men in the southern district of Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that unknown assailants opened fire on the customs officials sitting in the car at the bridge and escaped, two customs officials were killed on the spot while 3 were injured.

“Three days ago, five officials, including an officer of the customs department, were killed in a firing incident in the same area and the assailants escaped,” he added.
