The reaction of the Foreign Office came out on the decision of the US to ban the companies associated with the Pakistan missile program. Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch says that it is important to avoid arbitrary application of export controls.
The United States has imposed sanctions on four companies from China and Belarus for supplying parts of ballistic missiles to Pakistan.
In this regard, the spokesperson of the Pakistani Foreign Office Mumtaz Zahra Baloch says that US sanctions on companies associated with Pakistan’s missile program were imposed in the past without any evidence.
The spokesman of the Foreign Office further said that we are not aware of the latest steps taken by the US. Even then these items were not on any control list but were considered sensitive. Pakistan has repeatedly pointed out that such items have legitimate commercial uses and therefore it is important to avoid arbitrary application of export controls.
Mumtaz Zahra said that arbitrary application of export controls must be avoided, rejecting the political use of export controls.
