Background
It should be remembered that in the hearing held on January 6 this year, PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife might not be charged.
Later, in the hearing held on March 6, the statements of 3 NAB witnesses were recorded.
The court had declared 6 co-accused of the reference, including property tycoon Malik Riaz, as fugitive and fugitive criminals in the 190 million pound reference.
Earlier even on January 4, Imran Khan and his wife were not indicted and arguments were given by NAB on the bail application in the 190 million pounds references, following which the hearing was adjourned till January 6.
It should be noted that in the Al-Qadir Trust case, it is alleged that Imran Khan and his wife legitimized the 50 billion rupees sent to the government of Pakistan by the British National Crime Agency (NCA) during the PTI regime. In return for giving billions of rupees and hundreds of kanals of land from Bahria Town Limited.
The case relates to the alleged illegal acquisition and construction of land for Al-Qader University in which Malik Riaz and his family have been charged £140 million by the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) in a money laundering case. Unlawful gain was obtained in recovery.
Imran Khan is also alleged to have misled the Cabinet by concealing the facts regarding the settlement agreement, the amount (£140 million) was received under the settlement agreement and was to be deposited in the national exchequer. But it was adjusted to recover the dues of Bahria Town Karachi of Rs 450 billion.
