While they were eating, at around 07:30 pm on Monday, November 18, the two minors witnessed a strong family fight.

After a few minutes of the altercation, the man, in a moment of anger, grabbed the two little girls by the arms to throw them out of the apartment where they lived in the Torres de Alamadina residential complex in the municipality of Jamundí. Wanted to murder his two little girls. He achieved it with Salomé, the youngest of the girls.

“This person has some type of argument whose origin we still cannot determine. Take the two girls and try to throw them. What we know is that a neighbor intervenes and prevents him from throwing one of the youngest, the oldest. However, he does manage to throw the youngest daughter,” revealed the deputy commander of the Santiago de Cali Metropolitan Area Police, Colonel German Manrique.

The woman who saved the girl would have managed to leave the apartment with the other minor, while the man would have locked himself in to prevent the residents, who had already realized what happened, from entering.

There was a riot and they lynched him

Colonel Manrique assured that, after being informed of the situation, they went to the El Rodeo neighborhood, where the residential unit is located. Several patrols were present at the scene, where they proceeded to capture the suspect.

However, after having him under their power, some people staged an attack against the Police and proceeded to beat the alleged murderer with sticks, fists and kicks.

After several minutes, the Police managed to rescue him and took him to a care center, where hours later he lost his life due to the severity of the injuries suffered.

Manrique assured that the man would have a history of drug use as well as, according to what has been determined, he would have some psychiatric pathologies.
