Fiat Grande Panda Electric SUV Now Available for Order
The wait is over. Fiat has announced the arrival of the Grande Panda electric crossover, opening for orders with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of €24,990. Just a week after rumors circulated about possible delays due to software issues, Fiat has confirmed its readiness to bring this electrifying addition to the compact SUV market.
Measuring 30 cm longer than the standard Panda, the Grande Panda comfortably fits into the compact class. However, its 83 kW (113 hp) electric motor, while adequate, isn’t in the realm of high-performance, making it better suited for everyday use rather than thrill-seeking drives.
Acceleration reflects this focus on practicality. With a 0-100 km/h time of 11 seconds and a top speed of 132 km/h, the Grande Panda prioritizes efficiency over speed. It does offer a spirited burst from a standstill, reaching 50 km/h in a respectable 4.2 seconds.

The Grande Panda’s 44 kWh battery provides a range estimated at up to 320 km, though these figures are still pending official homologation. Charging versatility adds to its appeal. Using the standard 7 kW single-phase on-board charger, a charge from 20% to 80% takes 3 hours and 43 minutes. Opting for the 11 kW unit shaves this time to 2 hours and 55 minutes. For those on the go, DC fast charging with a capacity of up to 100 kW can replenish the battery to 80% in just 33 minutes.

The arrival of the Grande Panda marks Fiat’s continued commitment to electrification, providing a practical and stylish option for those seeking a compact electric SUV with a blend of affordability and practicality.
