When he was diagnosed with lung cancer in June 2022, Alejandro Sansores lost everything: a partner he had been with for 14 years, lifelong friends, and opportunities to job.

Today this sound engineer and 53-year-old DJ is permanently connected to nasal prongs in order to breathe.
