In a world that can frequently enough feel isolating, particularly for those who are different, I wanted to showcase a story about finding solace and strength in the most unexpected of places. The bond between the young boy and the drag queen, both grappling with their own struggles, felt deeply human and timely.

“The short film served as a springboard for the feature. It allowed me to explore the core ideas and characters,and audiences’ response validated my vision.
developing the feature meant diving deeper into each character’s backstory, enriching the relationships, and expanding the emotional landscape. it was a journey of growth and discovery, both for the characters and for me as a filmmaker.”

“It was a privilege working with such a gifted ensemble.
