Nakagami, Mugitani, adn Meguro Claim Victory at the 2025 All Japan Sky Fitness Championship

Toshima Gymnasium, Japan – The All Japan Sky Federation’s “2025 Hokuto Flag All Japan sky Fitness Championship” took place on Sunday, May 25th, 2025, at Toshima Gymnasium, showcasing intense battles and remarkable displays of skill in this unique mixed martial art. Kudo, a discipline blending elements of karate, judo, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, saw top domestic fighters vying for supremacy and a chance to compete in the upcoming Asian Championships.

-250 Class: Nakagami’s Triumphant Return

Nakagami yutaro (Daido juku Headquarters) emerged victorious in the -250 class, marking a critically important comeback after recovering from a shoulder dislocation sustained last year. His opponent, Suzuki Kosuke (Kosugi Dojo), a Judo 2nd Dan champion and All Japan Kickboxing Amateur All Japan Tournament winner, put up a strong fight, having gained attention throughout the tournament. However, Nakagami’s relentless pressure, highlighted by takedowns and precise strikes, secured him the win.

-260 Class: Mugitani Seizes the Crown

Mugitani Ryosuke (Daido Juku Gyotoku Branch) finally achieved his championship dreams in the -260 class. After two previous final appearances, Mugitani’s path to victory was paved with determination.In the semi-finals, he avenged a recent loss by defeating Mizumura Kentaro (Daido Juku Headquarters). The final was won due to Hayashi Kosei (Daido Juku Saku Branch) breaking his right fist in the semi-final matchup against Nagami Ryujiro.

-230 Class: Meguro’s Unstoppable Reign

Meguro Yuta (Daido Juku Nagaoka Branch) continued his dominance in the -230 class, securing his ninth championship title. Defeating Yamada Ryoga, Tanaka Shuto, and Onishi Rinshu, Meguro displayed a thorough skill set, combining striking, grappling, and ground-and-pound techniques.His victory marks an 11-year reign.

The “2025 Hokuto Flag All japan Sky Fitness Championship” showcased the intensity and skill of Kudo.The event highlighted the rising stars and veterans of the sport, setting the stage for an exciting Asian championship later this year.
