American Airlines has announced groundbreaking news for travelers in Venice and the United States. Beginning this summer, the airline will inaugurate a direct daily flight connecting the Venice International Airport Marco Polo (VCE) with the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

Modern Aircraft and Expanded Network

The new route will be served by modern Boeing 777-200 and 787-8 aircraft, ensuring passengers experience the latest in flight comfort and technology. This addition to the Venice-DFW route also signifies a commitment to expanding its Italian network.

Starting June 5, 2025, travelers can expect easy connectivity from Italy to one of the largest gateways in the United States. This will enable more seamless travel for those visiting or doing business between the northeast of Italy and Texas, as well as those exploring onward connections within the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

Enhanced Travel Opportunities for Passengers

“We are excited to expand travel opportunities for our passengers in Italy with the introduction of the new seasonal flight between Venice and our largest hub, Dallas-Fort Worth,” said José A. Freig, Vice President of International and Inflight Dining Operations at American Airlines. “This new connection, combined with our service to Philadelphia, demonstrates American’s dedication to strengthening the links between Northeast Italy and the U.S., bolstered by our comprehensive summer schedule.”

With the new service, American Airlines will operate up to 12 flights per day from Italy to the United States during this summer season, making this their largest operation in Italy to date.
