Breaking: Xiaomi Spain’s ‘I give you my eyes’ Unites Technology and Art in Groundbreaking Mobile Photography Project
MADRID, 12 Jun. (Portaltic/EP) – Xiaomi Spain has just announced ‘I give you my eyes,’ an artistic journey driven by mobile photography using Xiaomi devices. This innovative project brings together six renowned creators from diverse fields, including acting, dance, science, gastronomy, and fashion. The initiative aims to showcase the expressive power of Xiaomi’s technological ecosystem and its role in fostering creativity and connection.
Inspiration Chain: A Collective Artistic Experience
The participants in ‘I give you my eyes’ include Jaime Lorente, Ana Furía, Valpat, Jesús Sánchez, Pablo Erroz, and Begoña Rodrigo. Each artist will share their visual universes through personal galleries of images captured with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra phone. In a unique inspiration chain, one artist’s vision will become another’s work, resulting in a collective and unique creation.
The project is part of Xiaomi’s ongoing commitment to explore the limits between art and innovation. The company’s statement highlights its vision: “Technology as the engine of creativity, connection, and transformation.” Over the years, these talents have participated in various initiatives that demonstrate the expressive power of Xiaomi’s devices.
Artistic Collaborations Across Disciplines
Jaime Lorente, known for his roles in series like ‘La Casa de Papel’ and ‘Elite,’ will use chef Begoña Rodrigo’s photographic gallery to create an original poem. Ana Furía, a member of the Spanish Olympic team of Breakdance, will translate Lorente’s gallery into a moving work, capturing the energy and rhythm of the images. Valpat, a duo known for their work in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), will create a unique piece inspired by Furía’s gallery using a robot they designed and programmed.
Jesús Sánchez, a renowned chef and owner of the Michelin-starred restaurant Cenador de Amós, will craft an artisanal wooden piece inspired by Valpat’s gallery. Pablo Erroz, an internationally recognized designer, will create an abstract artistic piece inspired by Rodrigo’s images. Finally, Begoña Rodrigo will design a fashion piece inspired by Erroz’s gallery, combining gastronomy, fashion, and art.
Xiaomi’s Commitment to Creativity and Innovation
Nelly de Navia, Head of Marketing at Xiaomi Iberia, emphasizes the company’s commitment to projects that expand the limits of creativity. She states, “In Xiaomi, we understand photography not only as a means to capture images but as a powerful tool to tell stories, transmit emotions, and connect different art forms. ‘I give you my eyes’ reflects our commitment to projects that integrate technology and artistic expression uniquely.”
The experience ‘I give you my eyes’ seeks to reflect Xiaomi’s commitment to innovation and creativity. According to the company, “This inspiration chain shows that mobile photography not only immortalizes moments but also promotes an incessant flow of ideas, crosses, and collaborations that transcend the limits of artistic expression.” Each photograph is an invitation to create, share, and rediscover reality through the eyes of others.
