Minister Babalanda Emphasizes The Role Of faithfulness In public Service

Namayingo District, Uganda – The Minister For Presidency, Hon. Babirye Milly Babalanda,has stressed the importance of faithfulness not only in religious settings but also in the execution of public duties. Minister Babalanda, also serving as the Director of Sda Busoga Women’s Field, shared these remarks during the Sda Women’s Day of Emphasis festivity on Sigulu Island, held at Sigulu Island P/S in Namayingo District.

A Call For Stronger Faith And trust In Service Delivery

Minister Babalanda conveyed greetings from President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni, who also serves as the Minister Of Education And Sports. She urged Christians to strengthen their faith and place unwavering trust in Jesus Christ.

“We should put trust in the Almighty god and love one another, and love for our country, Uganda,” Minister Babalanda stated. “We should understand that we all live by the mercy of God.If you cannot understand God, you cannot understand yourself.”

The Importance Of Godly acts And Role Models

The minister emphasized the significance of performing Godly acts and acting as positive role models within communities. “The work of God is very significant; we should always perform Godly acts and have value in our communities, and act as role models to the young generation,” she noted.

Minister Babalanda also appealed to Christians to uphold the image of God. “We all know that we were created in the image of God; Therefore, it should be protected,” she asserted.

Faithfulness In Public offices

Highlighting the role of faith in governance,Minister Babalanda stressed that faithfulness should extend beyond church walls into public offices. She questioned the integrity of Christians involved in scandals, urging them to represent the image of God in their actions.

“We should make sure that faithfulness does not end in churches but rather in the offices placed to serve our communities.How does it look when a Christian is ever in scandal? We should represent well the image of God in whatever we do,” Minister Babalanda said.

The minister also encouraged Christians to share the love of Jesus and respect one another. “we should love one another, clean our souls and respect others,” she added.

President Museveni’s Support And Local Developments

Minister Babalanda lauded President Museveni for his support of religious leaders and contributed 1 million shillings each to women church leaders, Sacco, and church leaders. Rdc namayingo, Eve Kwesigwa, reported challenges with the pdm and Emyooga programs on Sigulu Island but assured that new arrangements are in progress to facilitate the program’s success.

Area Mp, Hon. Okeya Peter, commended Minister Babalanda for her exemplary leadership and god-fearing nature. He thanked her for visiting Sigulu and requested her continued support.
