Animal Rights Activists Block Six Slaughterhouses in France and Netherlands

“This unprecedented action has drawn the attention of authorities across two countries, prompting swift responses from both French and Dutch law enforcement,” stated a spokesman from 269 Libération Animale. “Our intention is to shed light on theemporarily horrors animals face and to challenge the systemic exploitation inherent in these industries.”

French authorities, including the CRS (Compagnies Républicaines de Sécurité) and local gendarmerie, responded to the disturbances, eventually managing to evacuate the premises.
